Content will be saved by micropayments.
That hopeful prediction by a LinkedIn columnist is the latest in a long line of data-techy type solutions put forward that will “save journalism.”
I’m not holding my breath.
#BigIdeas2015 may indeed include an increasing prevalence of micropayments but these are unlikely to benefit journalism much.
